$20K Prize Goes to Brooklyn Designer

Ideablob.com, the popular online entrepreneurs’ social community inspired by Advanta Corp. (NASDAQ: ADVNB; ADVNA) today announced that Brooklyn, NY resident, Andrew Personette, is the March winner of its monthly contest for the best small business idea, as voted on by members of ideablob’s online entrepreneurial community.

Andrew Personette, together with Matt Tyson, is the founder of “Design Green Now”, which invites prominent professionals in the fields of design, architecture, publishing and manufacturing to engage both students and the public in a conversation about driving environmentally sound design practices.

Andrew is also is one of the people behind EcoSystems, a line of environmentally friendly furniture, and Treehouse, a worskpace for creative professionals in Brooklyn. Hear some of his thoughts below.
