Parson's School of Design 1970 or Williamsburg 2008?

by Brooklyn Modern | November 3rd, 2008

While checking out the Mid-Century books Pdxmod’s Ebay store, I came across an old book that features the furniture of Parson’s design students circa 1970. I couldn’t help but notice how the design students look a lot like inhabitants of Willamsburg and my shop. I Imagined how they would take advantage of the neighborhood’s services today:

Would buy supplies over at Crest Hardware (Visit site for coupon).

He would give the short-tempered guy who answers the phone at Adriatic Wood an incredible headache.

Will next make birch ply speakers for amps with vintage tubes.

Winds down at the Turkey’s Nest after a day at the studio/shop.
